Более практический ответ: ты посмотри, сколько музыкальных аппов под случайную платформу iOS уже нарожали!
Вряд ли их с нуля писали. Особенно GarageBand смотрится уж очень похожим на Маковский. Это признак неслабой такой совместимости платформ.
